Physical model built from Foam Core and Butterboard, cut using a laser cutter. 24"x24" base dimensions. It was designed to come apart for transit, though it still recieved minor damage unfortunately.

The structure was designed and rendered in Revit. We then redrew the basic structure in Rhino 3D in order to make the drawings for the laser cutter.
Physical model built from Butterboard, cut using a laser cutter. 24"x24" base dimensions. While being transported to and from competitions the glazed walls got crushed.

As you add trivets the possible directions that a single trivit can slide in are reduced. This allows you to use them individually for small items, while being able to easily place them together in order to support larger items.
